IN THE EYE OF THE WORLD..!

This article is about the image that people in seventeen countries –included the U.S. - have of the United Stated: giving his opinions about the issues that are most important in the actual context ; talking about the actual contenders to the presidency of the U.S. and showing how people feel with the situation of the country.
We can see the point of view of people -in different countries and in the same United State- about the actual president and both candidates for the new period. This point is really interesting because show us how people are disagree with the actual government of Bush and how they thing that the candidate McCain represents an archetype of the same actual government. In the other hand, we have the image of the “change” in the black candidate Obama. This candidate looks like a citizen of the whole world, and that is not just because of his beginnings-he born in Hawaii and his father is from Kenya and also he has a part of Indonesian. This man represent, in a way, the ideals expressed in the declarations of independence: equality, freedom and peace, in times when these concepts are only in theory- the war with Iraq; imperialism; and so on. This point apparently is symptomatic in a lot of countries as Germany and Netherlands: the poll show that Obama had have an approbation of almost ninety percent.
Talking about the issues more important for people, the poll shows different opinions depending of each country. For example respondents people in the U.S. think that the more important issue is the global economical – actually it’s predictable-; in Mexico people think that is more important the poverty; a lot of countries as Australia, Taiwan, Finland, Germany and Canada think that “the subject” is the environment. The poll shows something else, that is kind of weird, in a way, because that view the subject of the war in Iraq with a sort of indifference. Another point is how people feel about United State, first of all, in many declarations people thing that the American dream is not true any more. They usually would rather stay in his country than move to North America. Perhaps, we can’t omit that there is a good part of France that considered U. S. as “the land of the second chances”.

personal opinion about the interview............

the interview was very interesting. Actually I didn’t know a lot of Queen Latifa. I always listen about her and his movies about comedy, but I didn’t know about her multifaceted personality. This article show us a human been with a great scents of the life. I mean, she takes in count the superficial –and in a way, fake-type of live of Hollywood. She doesn’t worry about looking a great body, she feels comfortable with her self, and this is really important for a person. She is an example for the youth because in these days every teenager-and in general, almost all the people - want to be like the stars of Hollywood: get the perfect body; get money; etc. and because of that, they don’t have a conscience of the real word and how hard can be. Another element about the article that calls my attention is the attitude about her family. I mean that she are in touch with his mother, even when she are a very busy woman, that talks a lot about the kind of person she is.

QUEEN LATIFAH: AN ARCHETYPE MODEL OF BUSINESS WOMAN IN HOLLYWOOD

Queen Latifah his not just an actress of Hollywood with a great scent of humor. She is really a business women and a model of success. Latifa has participated in a lot of Hollywood movies and her histrionic talent has made her get prestigious: she was nominated to the Oscar and the Golden Globe. On the other hand, her carrier of singer has been awarded with a Grammy because of her great performance. However, the most important element is her personality: she doesn’t look like a star of Hollywood and that make her more attractive to the people, who show his love every second. She shows a great simplicity in her behavior and his declarations. She doesn’t fee like a diva of Hollywood, even when his popularity says the opposite. This realist attitude could be because of her hard experiences in the life: his older brother was killed in a motorcycle accident. Another, element of her attitude is the tenacity on all the projects that she works. She always makes her best in every challenge. A clear example of that is her last movie “the secret life of bees”, when she has to work with a lot of bees around, even when she admits his fear about these insects. She says that is difficult be in the character and say his lines. Talking about the multifaceted personality, she is the owner of five hamburger stand and she already has a line of clothing for “bigger women”, that is because she feels sensitive about people, who make an stereotype of women that are not in a standard weight. She has a really mature perspective about looking the “perfect body” and the health. Also she talks of the relationship between her and his family and her new projects.

MEDIOCRIDAD

El ensueño de no tenerte me hace ignorar el menester que me rodea y no es solo ello lo que me turba, sino es el pesado grillete en mi tobillo. Un acero lacerante y sórdido, puede transformarte del ser mas sublime y divino a una fría bazofia humana si te detienes ante tal escollo. ¿Es una muchedumbre o no es nadie?, no interesa tan trivial cuestión y es que es una verdad de Perogrullo, lo que sabes que deberías hacer. La actitud estoica podría ser la mejor salida, por otro lado un efluvio hiperbólico de temor se va generando dentro de mí. ¿La razón? Una cierta arrogancia que resulta muy confortable, empero de lo que se pueda decir de esta sensación. Esta bien, lo admito es certidumbre de triunfo, de éxito; el temor es sintomático de que nuca antes experimente tal sensación. Encausarla hacia bien será mi elevada labor. Desde el inicio, todo ha sido un continuo de etapas que han ido pasando sobre mí, dejándome envuelto en un halo de sensación de perfeccionamiento que fluctúa entre lo romántico de un ser que se va transformando en alguien mejor – ¿final feliz?; hasta la conciencia de saber que ya solo queda en mi un cierto rescaldo de temor – mucho mas realista, aunque la incertidumbre esta ahí-. Lo que si es axiomático es la actitud que esta en el precario “deber ser” y que aun no logro concretar.

LA ETICA DEL GUERRERO ("LA CARTA")

Posees mucha más experiencia que la última vez, así que solo me remitiré a decirte que continúes por ese mismo sendero elevado, aquel camino arduo y, por momentos, vejatorio que hace mas intensa y significativa tu existencia. He notado que actúas como un luchador recalcitrante y audaz, déjame sacar el aspecto formal de tu manera de ser, y contrastarlo con mi experiencia, tal vez si logro captar el paradigma de la situación, será mucho mas ilustrativo. El “guerrero”, es decir el que le pone fuerza, garra y corazón a todo lo que realiza, ese hombre lo tiene todo. Este modo estoico de vida se aplica a todo: el amor, el trabajo, el fútbol, todo! ¿Entiendes? Ya lo sabes bien, porque tú eres ese tipo de persona. Particularmente, te cuento que por momentos estudiaba sin parar, sin embargo, no obtenía los resultados que esperaba, es más, seguía igual, pensaba que algo estaba haciendo mal. Tú sabes que cuando no te salen bien las cosas siempre los pensamientos negativos rondan por tu cabeza como carroñeros ante el más sórdido cadáver. Sin embargo, una vez escuche cierta vaga frase acerca del Karma, decía algo más o menos así: “trabaja con fuerza siempre dando todo de ti y los resultados caerán indefectiblemente”. Por alguna extraña razón encontré en aquella frase cierta noción de verdad providencial. Entonces seguía y seguía rajándome como no tienes idea, cagandome de sueño; es cierto, lo puedo jurar, se me adormecían las manos y me quedaba leyendo horas de horas, entonces los resultados comenzaban a llegar y fue el sentimiento de satisfacción y amor propio tan intenso que me envolvió con una suerte de halo divino. En mi fólder atiborrado de separatas, guardaba una hoja impresa con la imagen de cierto luchador pintoresco -demasiado infantil para mencionarlo, lo siento!-luego de una batalla, sucio, jadeante y mirando con un rostro cansado y a la vez furioso, queriendo seguir luchando. Esta imagen me recordaba a mi mismo, cada vez que me sentía cansado y aun así persistiendo, queriendo seguir luchando hasta la muerte como un guerrero. Tal vez suena tonto, incluso muchas veces, lo pensaba y me reía, pero tenia plena conciencia de que esta imagen con la cual, yo había comenzado formar mi forma de ser, era el modelo para vivir, es decir, la mejor manera en que un persona puede actuar en la vida. Y ,te digo algo, el ser humano es un animal de costumbre, y tan pronto como te asumas según lo que buscas ser, ya no sientes esa carga, ya que lo entiendes como parte de ti ¿Comprendes? Entonces no sientes el peso y puedes mejorar estas caracteristicas. Pienso que lo que uno busca en la vida, es decir, esa especie de “objetivo final” no es un fin ultimo como tal, quiero decir no es tener plata, una casa, una flaca rica, etc., etc. Este objetivo, al que muchos hombres han llamado “felicidad” es un continuo modo de vida, Aristóteles, lo decía así y yo creo que tenía razón. Bueno, basta de filosofar ¡Por favor! No pretendo ser quién, obviamente, no soy, solo planteo ciertas ideas desde mi experiencia personal. Tal vez te sirva…

HADAS, DEMONIOS Y OTRAS CRIATURAS

¿Qué creen? Empezó nuevamente el suplicio. Por momentos tan intenso que te provoca un nivel desaforado de estrés con un toque de auto comprensión de sórdida existencia, paleada por muy esporádicos encuentros con otros espíritus que pululan en las inmediaciones de la “otra” “selva de cemento” -desde una perspectiva Hectoriana-. Regodeándonos por unas horas de frenética actividad extracurricular, buscamos crear arte en la loza y golpear reiteradamente a los antítesis de nuestro placer. Es catarsis de frustración, encono y tribulación arraigadas en el alma como sanguijuelas en la piel más inmaculada. Otrora fuente de apacibilidad y regocijo furtivo, son los encuentros con cada una de las mas hermosas diosas que proliferan intempestivamente. A cada una de ellas las amo a mi manera; cada una tan diferente y fiel a su dogma me revitalizan con cada muestra de sensualidad e ingenuidad elevada. Una de ellas, pequeña artista, de un rostro que puede dejarte desprovisto de alma alguna porque su belleza es tal que provoca una súbita convulsión interna que te hace envolverte en una dependencia irracional casi simbiótica hacia ella. Vamos! que aún queda mucho camino por recorrer…y esto, creo, ya lo había vivido antes una y otra vez. Es un mundo de ensueño realidad del cual yo sólo soy el Dios y dominador de todo, depende de mi el creer y poder controlarlo…
